Solastalgia in movement
This work is the fruit of a collaboration with Erika Webe, a performance artist, author, movement composer, actress, anthropologist and poet originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. This short movie explores the concept of Solastalgia already at the core of my photographic and poetic exploration.
Through an interdisciplinary dialogue between photography, physical theatre, poetry, and vertical rope, we create a performance made of poetic landscapes where the human body becomes a living territory, the home emerges as our primary ecosystem, and solastalgia unfolds as an emotional geography revealing our fragile bond with the world we inhabit.
A magnificent yet vulnerable body, like a statue from a vanished golden age, encounters minimalist dreamlike architectures stripped of comfort, inviting audiences to experience ecological loss not as an abstract concept, but as a deeply embodied reality.
